Start Your Adoption Journey

Walk in to the shelter during adoption hours from 12 PM – 4:30 PM daily, except Thursdays or schedule a Shelter Meet & Greet here. Appointments are not required, only recommended for those interested in a specific animal.

Long Stay

Any pet in the care of Kaua‘i Humane Society for over 100 days. These pets are often overlooked while waiting for the right home but are just as deserving of love and a chance to be seen.

“In Foster” means the pet is currently in a KHS foster home but is still available for adoption. Contact customerservice@kauaihumane.org to set up a Meet & Greet for this pet.
