Kaua’i Humane Society was incorporated in 1952 to protect Kaua’i’s animals and to promote the human-animal bond. We are an independent and private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and receive no funding from mainland humane organizations, nor the State or Federal government.

Why Become a Member?

Membership dues not only bring YOU benefits, they ensure that The Kaua’i Humane Society has the support we need to care for the thousands of animals who need our help each year.

Membership Giving Levels

  • Kako’o (Individual): $50 provides food to a litter of puppies or kittens
  • ‘Ohana (Family): $90 provides for the vaccinations of three dogs
  • Nakahu (Guardian): $300 sponsors for the spay/neutering of 8 cats
  • Kahua (Founder): $500 pays for 5 crates for the A.L.O.H.A.Transfer Program

Membership in the Kaua’i Humane Society provides no voting privileges.
