Are you working in an office with no animals? Boring! Lucky for you, you can now foster a cat at your business or office for free. The Kauai Humane Society will provide all supplies and cover the cost of medical care for your new employee. Should the candidate provide a less than ideal fit within the workplace, we will gladly continue our hunt to find the best built-in supervisor who will meet your specific needs and provide positive outcomes for your business.

Requirements
KHS provides all supplies and medical care. The cat can stay at the business or go home with an employee at night. We ask that your business have room to house the cat’s food, water and litter, and have a small “lounge area” the cat can escape to when feeling overwhelmed.

How long will I foster the animal?
You can foster the cat as long as you like. If it doesn’t work out, you can return the animal to us at any time or try a different cat.

Can I adopt my foster?
Sure! But you still have to go through the cat adoption application process. Similarly, if you have family or friends that want to adopt, they will need to go through the adoption process.
