Critter Camp

Critter Camp is back!! This year, we have multiple opportunities to choose from!

For children ages 7+

June Critter Camp: June 8, 15, 22, and 29 – $300

These critter camps will give kids the opportunity to learn about animal welfare, why it’s important to be good pet owners and good neighbors, and what it’s like to work in the animal shelter and veterinary fields. We’ll get to play games, meet some friendly animals, hear from KHS staff, do arts and crafts, and have a pizza party on the last day. Children should bring their own lunches for the first three sessions.

Children will earn a Certification in animal companion welfare and/or Humane Care for Dogs/Cats.

The cost covers all four days and includes a volunteer shirt.

Spirit Week: Aug. 1,2, and 3 – $250
Single Day – $75

Spirit Week is a brand new addition to our traditional Critter Camps!

Spirit Week will involve a little more hands-on activities. We’ll get to learn about animal enrichment and make some DIY pet toys, plus do art with the animals for KHS to use for fundraising purposes!

The cost includes all 3 days and a shirt which kids will get to make themselves.

Children should bring their own lunches. Pizza will be provided on the last day.
