Cat Painting Parties and Auctions

Join the Kauai Humane Society for cat painting parties at noon HST Thursday, Feb. 18, and Friday, Feb. 19 on our Facebook page. In this virtual fundraiser, several of our shelter cats will paint three pieces of art each day livestreamed on Facebook which will then be auctioned off. We’ve already completed day one, and bidding has begun on the first three pieces. If anything, it makes for some seriously fun lunchtime entertainment.

Here are the rules:

• Bidding begins at $20 or individual pieces may be purchased for $250 outright.
• To place a bid, simply comment on the video post or photos.
• Bidders should mention the color of tape at the corner of the art piece if they would like that piece specifically.
• Bidding ends at 3 p.m. HST Monday, Feb. 22.

All proceeds will go directly to support the animals and programs at KHS. Mahalo!
