Kauai Humane Society

The Kauai Humane Society was founded to promote the human-animal bond and ensure compassionate, informed care for all of Kauai’s animals.

In addition to providing refuge to homeless pets, KHS offers a variety of programs and services designed to help animals and the people who love them.

KHS is an independent non-profit organization and we depend on your donations to care for more than 4,300 animals annually. A memorial or tribute donation is a wonderful way to remember a loved one while helping the animals in our care.

Other opportunities to support and pay tribute

An anonymous donor helped create Kauai’s first park exclusively for dogs and their human companions. The park landscaping has been recently upgraded by the same anonymous donor, offering many new and lasting opportunities to pay tribute.

Kauai Made 6″x6″ tile (made locally by Banana Patch) placed in middle courtyard at KHS – $60

Fence post marker – $100 (Engraved fence post marker placed at the top of a post anywhere you choose in the park)

Picnic table with benches – $500 (8 ft bench) – Placed throughout the park where people can talk story and enjoy being outside with their canine buddies

Shade tree – $700 to $900 (Choose from a variety of trees on our master landscape plan designed by Kauai Nursery & Landscaping)
