» Adopt a Pet - Mobile Adoptions.

Mobile Adoption

On the second and fourth Saturday of each month we take a few of our resident canines and kitties on a fieldtrip to the Kauai Community College farmers market. In collaboration with Barkaroo Bakery, our shelter van parks among the many vendors where volunteers introduce the animals to market shoppers. This is such a sweet opportunity to meet one of our animals in a social setting. Market hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. which affords you ample time to interact with the animal. Adoptions can happen right there on site. All animals taken to market have been spayed or neutered and have a microchip.

We are always interested in growing our mobile adoption schedule. If you would like to host a mobile adoption event, please email Frenchi at frenchi@kauaihumane.org.
